Role Summary/Purpose

This position will be the business sourcing management person for the assigned sub commodity, reporting to Water GC ES and Indirect Sourcing Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

Through strong technical / market expertise a successful candidate will:
* Work closely with respective functional team to be responsible of developing/implementing Indirect Sourcing Strategy and indirect procurement.
*Be responsible of indirect fulfillment, on time deliver good quality product or service.
*Be responsible of relative commodities’ vendor managements activities with owning and managing key suppliers’ performance to ensure long term cooperation
* Search, identify, visit and develop potential suppliers to grow local buy for assigned commodities.
* Execute RFQ (Request For Quotation) packages, negotiate Pricing and Supply Agreement; implement Terms & Conditions in line with sourcing strategy
* Execute Aravo process to get potential suppliers qualified
* Conduct business practices in line with integrity and compliance
* Support team to develop GPB / S2 / Operating Plan, and execute Business Plan
* Primary Technical Interface with Suppliers and work closely with various division of GE on the product qualification and Drive continuous improvement of supplier’s quality, cycle, and delivery performance.

Qualifications/Requirements

* BS / BA Degree (Mechanics, plus International Business preferred)
* 5 years sourcing / operational experience
* Cross-functional and International team experience
* Power Plant Application knowledge
* Demonstrated negotiation skills, contract development and business law knowledge
* High motivation and influencing skills
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
* Strong interpersonal / facilitation skills
* Proactive and positive self-starter with energy, enthusiasm and ability to execute
* Hands-on experience in supplier development: practical manufacturing (shop floor) exposure. Supplier quality management or supplier technical development experience preferred.
