Main Accountabilities
Business Analysis
- Project requirement management.
- Lead project stockholders interview and collect the business requirement.
- Analysis and research the business requirements and develop requirement specification, use case and use case specification or other equivalent documents.
- Workout the proper solution based on business requirements with Infrastructure competency managers.
- Work with ABB IS expertise from headquarter or other countries
- Continuously devising ways to improve documentation, best practices and service to ABB internal customers.
Project Management
- Communicating on all levels, understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Facilitates team (including vendor staff) and ABB internal customers regular meetings effectively, keeps project team well informed of changes.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to line manager.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Manage vendor staff.
- Negotiate with vendor staff for project relevant needs.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements from ABB internal customers.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews the deliverables before passing to customer.
- Effectively applies ABB internal methodology and enforces IS project standards.
- Provide periodic status report for PMO and customer reviews.
- Manage risk on project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related majors (e.g. information technology, electronic engineering, mathematics, etc.).
- Must have experiences in the field of manufacturing business.
- Minimum 6 - 7 years post graduate working experience of which 3 years in IT infrastructure project management, multi-projects management, department management, customer facing experience capacity.
- Good understanding of software development, quality processes, and PMP concept.
- Good planning skill is a must, solid hands-on project delivery experience with large-scale & complicated multi-platform (Microsoft production based) systems.
- Strong presentation/document writing skill is a must.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal in Chinese and English) to all project stakeholders within ABB organization.
- Experience working with remote teams (vendor staff), multiple projects and multiple tasks in parallel.
- Ability to work independently, lead and motivate people to deliver good results.
- Good team work and collaboration.
- Very strong organization and time management skills.
- Proven negotiation and facilitation skills, and experience in conflict resolution.
- Ability to work with different kind of technical people and customers, and to manage expectations.
- Strong IS infrastructure knowledge is a must, e.g. Storage, Windows server, MS System Center, Office cabling, Networking, Computer room management, etc.
