_{I. Primary Purpose}

The Finance Manager will be the “go to” person for all financial management issues relating to the Coach Asia entities under their supervision. He/she will take full responsibility for the production and integrity of the financial and management accounts and will be a valued business partner to all business units in this focused and high-performing team. He/she will be responsible for production of monthly reporting and reconciliations. He/she will work cross-functionally to monitor controls and key processes and to ensure continuous improvement. He/she will be responsible for managing all audit queries. Occasional international travel is required.

_{II. Key Responsibilities}

Monthly

· Manage monthly close process for multiple Coach China and Asia entities including all expense accruals, journals, intercompany eliminations including foreign exchange impact

· Review variable rent/commission and tax free commission journals drafted by Sales Audit Manager

· Prepare cost center analysis and commentary on performance against plan, including liaison with cost center managers to explain key variances

· Review the intercompany transaction to confirm all balances

· Work with Inventory Manager to ensure the CS2000 (POS system) monthly upload is reconciled and uploaded correctly

· Review appropriate shrink and obsolescence reserve movements prepared by operation finance

· Agree deferred margin adjustment with Coach NY Finance and post

· Calculate monthly tax provision and post

· Run monthly SAP foreign exchange revaluation process

· Produce key balance sheet reconciliations

· Produce 4-Wall store P&L’s (MTD and YTD) with insightful commentary

· Produce balance sheet actual analysis

· Produce monthly close pack for reporting in line with deadlines

· Prepare local GAAP actual and forecast reporting

Quarterly

· Create quarterly Fact Book submissions to Coach NY Finance

· Review balance sheet variance analysis to prior year end/ same quarter-end of prior year

· Update internal control narrative to confirm that processes are effective

Annual

· Coordinate the calculation of deferred tax with external advisor / Coach NY Tax

· Coordinate the calculation of corporation tax with external advisor

· Produce local GAAP reporting

· Manage all external and internal audit queries

· Be responsible for TPA adjustment calculation & coordination for year-end closing

Other

· Ad hoc analysis for Leadership team and project work, including some that is outside the remit of this role described above

III. Key Stakeholders of this role

This position reports to the G/L Reporting Sr Manager of Coach Asia Shared Service Center and will work closely with other members of Coach ASSC finance, Coach Asia regional finance, Coach Asia FP&A as well as Finance, Tax and Treasury teams in Coach New York. The individual will also work closely with other business teams across Coach Asia organization. He/she will need to be able to communicate well across different functions and cultures to achieve great results.

_{IV. Education & Experience}

· CPA or ACCA or CIMA qualified

· Strong working knowledge of International Accounting Standards

· Minimum 6 years working experience, with at least 2 years in a large multinational company

· Detail-minded with excellent communication skills

· Self-motivated, flexible and performance-oriented; able to work independently under time pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment

· Ability and willingness to see beyond the immediate remit of the role to drive team success

· Tenacity and stamina consistently to drive process improvements that withstand pressure

· SAP knowledge preferable

· Advanced Excel skills

· Occasional international travel possible
