Title/Position: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in South China

Job description:
Responsible to achieve the target for each divisional BLM except RCE division:
- For Operation Management, RSM should report to each divisional Business Line Manager
- For Administrative Management (Salary / Sales Commission & Bonus / Travel Approval & Expense / Appraisal / Recruitment / Career Development, etc…), RSM should report to the only ONE Business Line Manager who is appointed by company
Territory Management and implementation of management market strategy
- Responsible for CR capital equipment and aftermarket except RCE in South China
- Improve market share for all CR products
- Improve Key Accounts management to increase CUSTOMER SHARE
- Further develop our existing and new indirect sales channels, establish a solid and active distributors & resellers network.
- Lead sales team to approach new distributors/re-sellers and potential market, listen to and identify customers’ needs, and provide them optimized solution and support
- Develop direct sales, and seek for new potential market
- Carry out market investigation and provide relevant market information to all divisional managements to establish price policy and market share.
- Keep good relationships with customers and distributors/re-sellers.
- Look through and confirm the contract and decide the price and payment condition of products within the authorized limits.
- Seek for sales growth keeping good control of costs development
- Safeguard that Distributors/Re-sellers and Customer will respect the terms of future sales contracts (Payment Terms).
Sales team development & people management
- Managing the sales force within his territory
- Ensure sales forces are focusing on all divisional business.
- Develop sales skills and motivate sales force
- Increase sales efficiency and sales presence
- Define and optimize continuously the number and geographical spread of direct and indirect sales force.
- Be sure business is done according AC group standards
- Interpretation & implementation of company’s policy truly and quickly to sales people.
- Promote and support the introduction of Proactive Sales Management (PSM) as a tool to develop CR all products business
- Be sure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is daily used by the entire sales force
- Train, Coach and Boost sales people’s competence in both technical and commercial aspects.
Coordination with Marketing & CRS team
- Interact with CRS team to provide the best solutions and service to customers and distributors/re-sellers.
- Deliver an over-satisfied service to customer as Atlas Copco vision: “First in Mind, First in Choice”.
- Provide feedbacks on products quality, product trends and competitors development to the Marketing and Management of Construction Technique Divisions.
Mission:
Implementation of CR all divisional business strategies and activities with ambitious goals to maximize customer values of Atlas Copco Construction Technique, lead to sustainable profitable growth on all divisional business.
- Implement the sales and marketing actions in China to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Promote the Entire Product Portfolios of CR including Aftermarket in Chinese market.
- Further develop all products market presence to sustain CR profitable growth.
Experience requirements
- A proven track records in sales with a minimum 5 years’ experience in sales in Construction Machinery Company
- Good experience in indirect and direct sales management
Knowledge
- Good computer skill (PowerPoint / Excel / Word, etc…)
- Fluent in Mandarin, English skill would be a strong plus.
Educational requirements
- University degree or above, majored in mechanical engineer or equivalent.
Personality requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication and sales management skills
- Results oriented
- Willing to travel.
