To lead the Equipment (Assembly & Test Equipment) Development

• To provide proposal for automated assembly/test of a new product, with machine concept design, cost and schedule
• To create the equipment specification & qualification plan based on optimized concept design
• To evaluate supplier competency for suppler mapping
• To participate in detailing technical solutions with suppliers
• To participate actively in the clarification of product & equipment throughout project period (offer inquiry, equipment design & trouble-shooting)
• To review the mechanical design & follow up the realization of equipment
• To innovate the equipment specs by following up the industrial performance of equipment & up-to-date industrial technologies
• To consolidate the equipment files & assure the training of plant staffs
• To lead in the qualification & acceptance of equipment
• Follow equipment performance after handover to plant and provide necessary support

Requirement:

1. Required knowledge and experience for the position

• Background in Mechanical Area, with knowledge of Automation control
• Good mechanical design & adjustment knowledge in industrial equipment，familiar with the solutions of semi/full auto equipments, able to make equipment concept design
• Familiar with pneumatic components
• Application experience of mechanical components like index, manipulator, vibrator, step motor and sensors etc.
• Knowledge in assembly and fabrication process like riveting, welding and laser printing
• Knowledge in heat treatment of materials
• Capable to make tolerance calculation on critical dimensions during machining and assembly
• Basic Electrical/Automation knowledge
• Equipment project management experience is a plus
• PD/PF (Partial discharge test/Frequency) experience is a plus.

• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills，able to collect and analyze data according the project needs, setup reasonable action plan and push to achieve anticipated result
• Open minded, ready to learn other’s best practices
• Quick response and effective writing

3. Required Educational Background & Professional Experience

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Preferable 8 years (Min. 5 years) hands-on mechanical design experience in non-standard industrial equipment, better if experience in design of mass production equipments with short cycle time

4. Languages:

Fluent in Chinese & English (French is an added advantage)
