JD：

To lead Metallic part industrialization Concerned Activities (Single, Compound & Progressive Dies, Sheet Metal, …) in Industrialization Phase for PMP OCP/Localization Project

• Make benchmark study on new die concerned technologies and confirm their industrial feasibility through test during the OTM process
• Participate in the best choice of product architecture by assessing each die concerned part the feasibility & simplicity , taken into consideration the associated product design & manufacturing process, in ‘Product/Process Architecture Options ‘
• Propose & justify (investment vs. part cost) the most economical die investment in ‘ DO ‘ stage gate
• Finalize the die specifications, launch die quotation, participate in the supplier selection for die making & stamping from tooling point of view.
• Ensure the die design & fabrication are conformed to die specification, manage supplier sample submission & confirm die modification
• To confirm the feasibility, cost & leadtime for die modification during part verification phase.
• Confirm all tooling parameters (strip pitch/width/thickness, material scrap, machine tonnage, Stroke per Minute <SPM>…..) for part cost negotiation reference for purchasing engineer.
• Qualify the dies and transfer the industrial file to plants.
• Be in charge of die maintenance, stamping capacity management, backup die development for tools running in supplier site.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: University degree in Mould design/fabrication (1st preferred) or Engineering area
Job Related Experience:
Background in Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control Products
Good knowledge in Stamping, Sheet-metal , Machining, Surface treatment Technologies
Knowledge in optimization of stamping, sheet-metal ,surface treatment conditions
Financial background to propose the most economic investment & part cost
Good experience on using Pro-E CAD software
Business Understanding:
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills): Fluent in Chinese & English. (French is an added advantage)
