Key areas of responsibility:
1. Develop regional medical strategy and ensure top level medical contribution to internal and external customers.
2. Regional KOL management
3. IIS
4. Regional medical project
Main job tasks:
1.Develop regional medical strategy and ensure top level medical contribution to internal and external customers:
2.Develop regional specific medical strategy, ensure alignment with marketing strategy and regional sales strategy.
3. Develop strong and professional medical information package to support regional products and promotion events, and central marketing initiated key events such as NNDU, post-ADA and post-EASD scientific meetings.
4. Actively involve in marketing, sales and scientific events to ensure the in-depth understand of science, business and the requirement and unmet needs of internal and external customers.
5. Work closely with marketing, medical and sales teams, ensure the fluent communication and collaboration. Provide innovative support to the sales colleagues (materials, training, information, etc.) .
6. Provide regional scientific information and unmet needs to central medical affairs and marketing.
7.Deliver training to internal customers, such as marketing and sales colleagues.
8. Professionally represent the company as the diabetes expert at scientific meetings, symposia and external conferences.
9.Acquire and maintain highest standard of current diabetes knowledge and practice.
KOL Management:
1. Update regional KOL list once yearly.
2. Build and maintain positive scientific relationships with national and regional KOLs. Timely communicate with KOLs to update the brand related information and get their consensus and advocacy.
3. Develop regional KOL management strategy, ensure regional KOL management by means of peer-to-peer call, regional AB and scientific programs.
4. Organise once yearly regional AB and round table scientific discussion meeting, which is to set up a platform to discussion the regional medical strategy for NN whole portfolio.
IIS(Investigator Initiated Study):
1.Work with MSL manager to discover potential IST idea which initiated by regional KOL.
2. Fully communicate with investigator to define the value of IST.
3.Scientific input into IST.
4. Act as operation coordinator of the Investigator Initiated Study.
Regional medical project
1. Set up oversea platform to fulfill the scientific communication between domestic experts and foreign experts. Design communication content and agenda.
2. Design and set up special regional medical project according to the characteristic of each region. Such as medical-statistic conference, abroad visiting scholar program, et al.
Other individual assignments:
Ad-hoc assignments to attend international scientific congresses, communicate and cooperate with HQ medical affairs team.
Qualifications:
(minimum requirements)
1. Medical and marketing understanding
2.Communication and cooperation
3.Mature and independent.
Education:
1. Medical Master degree or above, preferable in Endocrinology.
2. Fluent in English.
Professional experience:
1. Scientific research and/or clinical experience, preferable in Endocrinology area.
2. Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, R&D or medical affairs functions is prefered.

1.Decisions guided by local legislation and company guidelines.

1.Innovation and initiative is very much needed to provide continuous top level medical contribution to business.
