■Introduction of our team.

We are the technical support team in EDMC (Electronic Devices Marketing China).
As you know, Sony is famous for the company which has developed the consumer electronics product
like Digital Camera, Video cam corder, PC, Walkman, TV etc. But at the same time Sony has developed and
provided electronic key devices to many other electronic company.

Especially CCD or CMOS image sensors are very famous for the best quality and reliability in the market.
And also Sony provide ISP (Image Signal Processor) for mobile phone, Surveillance Camera and DSC (Digital Still Camera).

And also Sony provide other many key devices like LCD for mobile products, TV related IC,

EDMC is the division sales those devices in China. And our division are technical customer support team in EDMC.

We mainly support :

Image sensors and its ISP for surveillance camera system.
Image sensors for mobile phone.
TV related devices like Si tuner and Demodulator.
LCD panel module for mobile phone.
Optical pickup devices for DVD, Bluray.

You might think that the technical support team means the FAE ( Field Application Engineer ) team.
But we are not just a FAE. Because our customer expect us to support not only Sony device itself but also
the whole system which is related to our devices.

Specifically speaking, our job is like as follows.

1. We develop our reference design system and provide it to our customers.
It is because
1. we have to develop and experience of using our own devices by ourselves and get the enough
knowledge to support customers.
2. Customer can design her own product easily by referencing our reference design.
This activity is almost the same as developing products by yourself.

2. If customer encounter any problem in the development of the product using our devices, we have to help solve them.
The root cause exists in our devices in some cases, but in many cases it might exist in other factor like the software
bug developed by other company, or the PCB bad pattern layout, or the other unknown factors.
We have to investigate them and solve it with our customer in short time.

3. Of course we have to provide enough information about our devices for customer to use our devices.
We have to answer to a lot of questions about our devices asked by customers.

As described above, 3 is the usual conventional FAE job. But 1 and 2 require the wide knowledge and experience of
not only for the device but also the system and development of the end product.
So we require not only FAE but also the engineer who has R&D skill and experience..

Our engineers support customers in All china, and at the same time we need to communicate with Sony Japan engineers
and sometime go to Japan learn the knowledge about our devices directly from Sony engineers.

Our official language in the office is English. We require the capability of English communication.
Japanese language skill is welcomes but not necessarily expected. It is no problem you can't speak Japanese.

As described above, we require the R&D talented top level support engineer.
We are ready to pay enough money for your such good skill and experience.

■Responsibility:
Assistant manager or the candidate for that.

1.Technical support Engineer of the semiconductor devices developed by Sony such as CMOS Image sensor, Image signal processing LSI, Camera LSI,
IP camera LSI, TV core LSI, LCD panel, LCD driver, Digital Video tuner and
demodulator etc.
2.Need to understand the sony devices and support customer.
3.Need to help customer to design their product using Sony devices.
4.Need to discuss technical issue with Sony Japan engineer and China customer.
5.Need to go to Japan for taking a training.
6.Need to make a technical report in English.


■Requirement:
1.Bachelor degree or above.
2. 5 yrs above experience as Electrical H/W Engineer: Can design electrical H/W circuit and can design the software to debug the H/W. Can think and explain things logically .
Ability to design FPGA with H/W description language is welcome.
3. Specialty. Have experience longer than 5 years in actual company. The experience of designing
products using the signal processing with image sensor like CCD/CMOS is most important. Camera technology is welcome. And the curiosity for both of H/W and S/W is necessary.
4. cooperativeness and responsibility. we have to work together with our teammate and be responsible for customers.
5. Language: Fluent in English.
