Major Responsibilities:


1. Understand consumer needs, cooperate with PD and other supporting team, develop/revise skincare & makeup products to meet the requirements.
2. Follow up the product stability and safety tests, be capable to rectify stability & safety issues; Set up the specification for the products;
3. Work with pilot team, experience on scale up
4. Must be able to manage multiple projects, able to research and report on technical subjects.


Principle Objectives:


Experimentation on the lab bench with conventional and / or with non-conventional and creative approaches to discover new technologies, new formula bases, new raw ingredients and processing techniques that leads to unique texture product, claims and benefits.


Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Chemical/biochemical Engineering or Chemistry related. Masters Degree in these fields a plus
2. Knowledge of chemistry, raw materials, surfactant and emulsion technology are desired, 3+ years’ cosmetics products development experience, formulation experience with makeup(foundation粉底霜, powder 粉妆，Lipstick 唇膏etc.) a plus
3. Must have strong lab bench, problem solving and product improvement experience, be good at cosmetics sample evaluation
4. Fluent in English, requires computer proficiency, must possess strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to work successfully in a matrix environment.
5. Must be flexible, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously /guided by Sr. chemist /lab manager and work well under pressure.
