Main Accountabilities
Strategic Planning
1.Develop DCS strategy for ABB China and other supporting area (Japan, Australia, New Zealand), reflecting the business requirements. Extend the service to other countries.
2.Ensure planning of the DCS budget.
3.Monitor and ensure the implementation of local/global strategies and standards.
4.Lead and ensure the responsible JV’s IS service match SLA.
5.Ensure compliances with corporate standards and guidelines.
6.Ensure SOX compliance for DCS.
DCS Technology Management
1.Lead and ensure the definition of distributed IS system standard, guideline and concepts.
2.Monitor and Ensure the definition of DCS process, cost optimization programs to meet business and IS request.
3.Steer implementation of DCS project, interfaces and milestones.
4.Ensure selection of the products implemented by DCS team, to monitor and improve IS services delivered to customers.
5.Ensure a timely and efficient communication with internal customers, the IS staff and the IS management team.
Leadership
1.Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, communicated, staffed and directed.
2.Guide, motivate, and develop the direct and indirect subordinate employees within the HR policy.
3.Ensure the ongoing development of staff’s knowledge and experience.
4.Conduct review of staff’s performance and knowledge for future development and retention.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Soft
1.Degree in IS related major, MBA or equivalent will be a plus
2.5+ years IS experience in the business, among which minimum 2 years in a management role
3.International company exposure
4.Project management skill and experience, process development skills based on DCS standards
5.SOX compliance skill and experience, process development skills based on SOX request.
6.Understand the IS standard, past, present, emerging and future technologies.
7.Initiative, communication skills, and the ability to deal with customers and IS internal teams
8.IS management skills in JV
Technical
1.Understand IS monitoring requirement, best practice and product (especially for HP and Microsoft products).
2.Understand software distribute/upgrade/inventory technology and product (especially for Microsoft products).
3.Understand virus against requirement, best practice and product (especially for McAfee product).
4.Understand ITIL concept, process and tools (especially for HP products).
5.Experience of system integration mentioned above to ensure IT automation and process compliance.
