Title immediate superior: Senior Product Manager/Associate Marketing Manager

Job content (purpose of the job)
Key areas of responsibility:
To support Senior Product Manager (brand leader) in planning, coordinating and executing all marketing activities of brands in order to develop and maintain strong brand maximize short and long term sales volume and profits.
Main job tasks:
Assist in develop brand plan to achieve business objectives:
1. Support the development of short and medium term marketing plans ensuring that business objectives are met or exceeded
2. Monitor the local competitive environment to identify business threats and opportunities and provide inputs to the development of business strategies / plans to address them
3.Development and execution of marketing activities to ensure meeting brand objectives with clear plans, objectives, goals and KPIs for own projects
4. Develop promotion materials to support marketing strategies
5.Maintain and update brand information and knowledges
6.Independently manage budgets of responsible marketing projects to ensure effectively meet business strategies and objectives
Communication with different stakeholders to achieve brand objectives:
1. Develop good communication with sales department to ensure the effective implementation of marketing strategy and national marketing events
2. Provide ad-hoc support to sales organisation in fulfilling brand objectives
3. Establish good relationship with other departments and to ensure strong communication and collaboration
4. Actively and openly contribute to the intra and inter-team collaboration to improve business performance and coordinate collaboration between different stakeholders
5. Understand key customers’ needs, maintain and establish good relationship with national opinion leaders and key customers
Other individual assignments:
1. Involved in the communication with HQ to feedback Chinese market inputs
Qualifications:
(minimum requirements)
1. Demonstrate a solid understanding of market, product knowledges and key customers
2. Demonstrate ability in developing marketing strategies
3. Demonstrate ability to implement marketing projects in new and innovative ways
4. Good communication skill and able to work in cross function projects
5. Good team player
6. Good written and spoken English level
7. Good computer skill, including word/excel/powerpoint
Education:
Relevant graduate level degree, e.g. Medical, Pharmacy, Science or Business Administration
Professional experience:
1. Minimum 2 years sales experience in pharmaceutical industry or related industry
2. Minimum 2 years product management experience in pharmaceutical industry or related industry
Supplementary job description:
Degree of independent decisions:
1. Authority to decide and act on decisions that impact the national brand performance, roughly 50% of independent decisions can be made in this position.
2. Main strategies and activities are coordinated with the brand management team, roughly 30% of decisions need to be ratified by brand management team.
Level of innovation:
1. Innovation and initiative is required to achieve business objectives by continuously improving the format, content and way of doing national marketing plan and activities
2. Shares ideas and provides inputs to news ideas and improvements
Main stakeholders:
1.Internal [country] : All departments in NNCP, strong collaboration with sales and marketing depts
2.External [country]: National Key Opinion Leaders, National Medical Associations
