Job Purpose
Be an expert in 2nd data for the Chinese pharmaceutical market namely IMS, CPA and to provide detail analysis to related Business Units for developing business cases, strategic plans and core brand sales forecast. Partner with Government Affairs, Strategic Planning , BD&L, Clinical development and DRA counterparts to ensure the Chinese market perspective is properly incorporated into global / regional portfolio development strategy to accelerate our growth in China. Working cross-division project within Novartis China Group is also required.
Compliance with applicable policies, procedures and other regulations.

Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the role to be achieved )
1.Partner with China Clinical Development, Medical, BD&L, Government Affairs, DRA and BU-marketing to provide recommendation for business cases, strategic plan and BD&L cases development.
2.Work closely with Global / Regional Portfolio Management to ensure new product develop-ment recommendations incorporate appropriate Chinese market insights.
3.Provide updated 2nd data (IMS, CPA) to Strategic Planning Manager, BD&L team, BU-marketing to develop Sandoz China forecast (5 years strategic plan) and business case to accelerate our growth
4.Liaise and support Global / Regional Portfolio Management counterparts efforts to align global / regional and local senior leadership
5.Stays current regarding reimbursement status, treatment practices, market dynamics, future trends, etc. in Sandoz China competing therapeutic areas
6.Coach and provide guidance to the staff to be compliant:

Background
Education :
?At least 5 years working experience in pharmaceutical industry
?Experience in multinational pharma is desired
?Sales, Marketing, medical or BD experience is desire
Experience:
?Analytical skills, data probing skills, basic primary market research methodology, desk research, presentation skills
?Time management, project management, cross-functional collaboration
Languages: Excellent oral and written English
