Responsibilities and key activities:
Create action proposals for product cost and quality
?Analysing product feedback and reliability data to identify justified opportunities for improvement
?Create action proposals to improve the quality of of the product/component
?Create action proposals to improve the cost of of the product/component
?Present proposals to PCM team for decision making
Create proposals to improve standardised offering vs. market need
?Collaborate with product marketing to carry our regular analyses of offering vs. market need.
?Create proposals to include high volume features in the standard offering
?Create proposals to remove low volume features in the standard offering
Create proposals to release plans of maximising the coverage of product/component platform
?Collaborate with Product Change Managers to identify needs per each market
?Collaborate with Product Change Managers to identify opportunities to maximise the coverage of products/components
Maintain product data
?EDstat structure
?Drawings
?Part data
?Design documents
?Certificates
Develop Capabilities
?Create performance improvement ideas
?Take development actions
?Create proposals for process guidelines
Authority to decide
?Approve CR's for own responsibility area
?Decide on technological changes to components
?Select proposals for changes in component

Requirements:
Education Background:
?Bachelor degree or above in electrical or automation or mechanical or electronics engineering. Preferred in electrical or automation engineering background.

Experience:
?Min 5 years of design work experience in the area of specific Technology.
?Evidence of several technology development projects e.g. component projects.

Skills, Proficiency:
?Excellent skills in defining Product specifications and project plans.
?Good sense of technology.
?Solid work experience on product change management.

Others:
?Fluent in English communication both written and speaking.
?Good communication skills and can coordinate others to work.
?Be responsible and pro-active.
