受一家知名美资公司委托，寻访Engineering Manager 一职

JOB OUTPUT:
?Under the leadership of general manager, this position is accountable for the effective direction and coordination of engineering including plant facility, equipment and tooling at the China plants etc.

KEY PROCESSES (Ownership/Participation):
?Provides leadership of safety process that contributes to creating an accident free environment.
?Responsible for developing annual capital and maintenance budgets for approval. Individual is responsible for adherence to these budgets.
?Trains and develops engineering staffs and stimulates them to sound and constructive thinking in solving problems. Constantly encourages the establishment and improvement of favorable employee relations. Reviews and evaluates their performance.
?Establish, revise, interprets and administers engineering regulations, procedures, specifications, manual, and schedule to ensure all engineering and preventative maintenance activities (PM) under standard and regularly.
?Provide technical solutions on solving daily production issue timely related to safety, quality, down time, cost related to equipment and tooling.
?Assist project manager to complete new product development, equipment installation and debugging for all rebuilt projects in China.
? Identifies and follows through on technical improvements and cost reduction by maximizing plant capacity, reducing downtime and maintenance expenses, improving equipment and maintenance quality and service.

MEASURES OF EFFECTIVENESS
?Safety performance: OSHA recordable, lost time injury
?On time project completion.
?Manufacturing performance (Mips, scrap rate, productivity, downtime, die and tooling inventory, maintenance expense etc.)
?Standard works on site
?Claims as a percentage of sales, MIP due to maintenance
?People development
?Employee satisfaction, behavior and morale

VALUE ADDED ACTIVITIES
?Team player in continuous improvement

QUALIFICATION
?Bachelor degree or above in mechanical field.
?At least 5 years supervisor level or above engineering management experience in mechanical manufacturing environment in multinational foreign company.
?Be familiar with the tooling and equipment related to stamping and roll forming process.
?Good command of both written and spoken English.
?Good AutoCAD or Solid works design skill.
?Good communication and coordination skill.
?Lean manufacturing experience or ISO 9000 is preferred.
?Is willing to work under pressure at production site.
?Team work spirit.
