A. PRIMARY PURPOSE (WHY DOES THIS JOB EXISTS)
(1) Support CFS Manager/supervisor and be responsible for the statutory compliance processes for BU entities.
(2) Support CFS Manager/supervisor in working with PWC in the statutory compliance processes for different BU (ie. AE, BE) entities migrated to CFS.
(3) Support CFS Manager in providing consulting advice / support to BUs in special projects such as M&A, de-registration, due diligence, legal entity restructuring, tax planning projects etc.
(4) Support CFS Manager/supervisor in CFS rollout assessment in AE and BE entities in China.

B. PRIMARY DUTIES:
? Assist the preparation of financial and tax schedules for statutory audit compliance of AE/BE entities under his / her responsibilities.
? Support the annual audit, prepare audit binders and reconciliations and reports at legal entity level according local GAAP regulations.
? Prepare Statutory Financial Statements. Prepare USGAAP vs local GAAP reconciliations.
? Reconcile accounts per account responsible matrix on a monthly-basis
? Support AE/BE entities, shared services center and central function regarding accounting/financial issues.
? Communicate and interface with business personnel on accounting issues.
? Interface to external and internal auditors, consultants etc.
? Assist in CFS rollout assessment in AE/BE entities in China. Identify issues and co-ordinate with AE/BE to develop action plan and remediate the issues.

C. EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent education and experience
? Min 3 years external auditing / accounting experience in multinational companies, Having Big 4 audit experience would be a plus.
? CPA/ACCA/CGA or progress toward certification would be a plus
? Thorough knowledge of accounting theory and its application in practice
? Proven ability to prepare account analyses and reconcile accounts
? Computer competency (SAP, Mfg Pro) in the client-server environment using a wide range of application software
? Good communication skill, fluent in oral and written English
? Problem solving and process improvement techniques are expected
? Ability to assist projects and do the follow-ups
? Ability to work well independently and work well in a team setting
