· 1. Supplier development: Identify our requirements on Quality Management System and process, educate supplier about our expectations, requirements and procedures, and audit supplier QMS and manufacture process to assess the compliance with our requirements, manage supplier to take corrective actions to ensure consistent compliance with our requirements.

· 2. New Launch Management:

· 2.1 Maintain a list of the new products, work with up-front development to ensure that supplier is capable of producing without major issues.

· 2.2 Work with the receiving plant, packaging development, technical packaging, supplier, and all other parties to define new product critical features important to the receiving plant, distribution and customers, and dertermine the inspection and testing plan.

· 2.3 Have supplier conduct risk assessment using DFEMA and PFMEA, review and approve the results, validate the corrective and preventive actions.

· 2.4 Participate in the definition, execution, analysis, and action taking of tooling qualification programs with primary Component suppliers.

· 2.5 Audit the manufacture process for new product, review the standard operation procedures and inspection procedures prepared by supplier for new product, and assess the risk of quality issues.

· 2.6 Conduct start-up validation for new product, verify the quality assurance elements again the checklist, ensure all the elements are ready and effective for mass production.

· 2.7 Conduct inline audit to verify the compliance with our expectations, review and validate corrective actions for the issues detected in inline audit.

· 2.8 Inspect the finished goods, review and validate the corrective actions for the defects detected in inspection.

· 2.9 Summarize the issues, seek for corrective actions from system and process standpoint.

· 3. Problem solving: Communicate the issues to supplier, review and validate corrective actions, ensure measures are taken in place in manufacture process and system.

4. Supplier performance review: Review supplier performance, have supplier work on quality compliance plan.
