职位描述

Our client is one of the world's leading companies in the premium spirits, beer, and wine sector. Though the company in its current form was established only in 1997, some of its global icons of brands and business have been around for well over 250 years.

Asia Pacific being a high growth potential market for the client company, Innovation has contributed 40% of the growth and 80m GBP of incremental of Net Sales Value (NSV) in the last two years in the region for the company. They have created the following role in order to help them drive their innovation agenda in the region.

Context/Scope:
In order to sustain further contribution in the coming years, the company targets to create a pipeline of Game Changers that target new consumers and new occasions. A Game Changer is defined as 'An idea which changes the way consumers drink our brands, or that delivers significant competitive advantage for the company......'
The Game Changers Unit will be tasked to develop ideas that work across multiple markets, aiming to create material growth for many markets.
The scope of this role is therefore to strategies, conceptualize and develop a range of Game Changing drinking experiences that aim to delight new consumers in new occasions across APAC.
Note: An Innovation Manager will support the Game Changer Unit.

Dimensions:
Financial
Deliver at least 15m GBP incremental NSV in F14, increasing up to 60m GBP NSV in F17
Full accountability for launch funding, including marketing mix development up to at least the first six months from launch.
Summarize on monthly basis the performance of launched products vs. plan, with understanding of critical P&L drivers.
Volume, NSV and GP targets as per company's plan

Market Complexity
Working across multiple markets, through multiple trading partners, with a wide range of diversity in terms of consumer grouping
Needs to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Marketing, Insights, Sales, Innovation Commercialization, and Decision support. Also responsible for search and spinning thinking throughout Asia Pacific region to leverage synergies and drive cost-efficiencies.

Purpose of Role
The role is to be the inspirational leader for the company's entry and continued winning presence across new consumers and new occasions across Asia Pacific.

Leadership Responsibilities
The Game Changer manager is responsible to provide leadership in the following areas:
Thought leader on the new occasions and new consumer opportunities in Greater China, Korea, Japan
Lead the creation of our overall category entry strategy, business models, trademark / portfolio strategies, and participation across the various geographies & categories.
The ability to navigate and excite key stakeholders within the company to gain the necessary traction and resource allocation.
Lead the development and global alignment for the innovation pipeline.
Deciding how best to drive the strategy to achieve our business goals.
Leading a team through high performance coaching

Financial Delivery: Good understanding of managing for value and the ability to run a Innovation P&L with an appreciation of the levers that influence financial performance
Organization: Identifies areas for improvement and drives world-class standards in Innovation through to the point of purchase and consumption

Top 3-5 Accountabilities
Develop 3 'breakthrough' initiatives that will deliver significant long term value to the company in APAC. These breakthrough initiatives will be linked to the company's business strategy, and will have multi market scale.
Influence senior stakeholders in order to unblock project issues by leveraging technical expertise, amazing relationships and strong leadership skills.
Lead the cross functional development of the propositions; including concept, pack, consumer experience and BIG activation idea
Ensure that each proposition is commercially grounded

Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum 14-15 years experience in Innovation / Marketing / commercial environment including;
Balance of marketing and innovation experience,
Leveraging consumer insights to develop winning consumer driven strategies,
Developing & managing all elements of the marketing mix,
Understanding & developing financials,
Delivering successful projects by leading a cross-functional team,
Proven ability to influence across an organization from peers to executive level in both a local & global context,
Excellent track record of project management process and practices,
Leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver exceptional results for themselves and the company
