职位描述

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Training Manager will be responsible for setting up and running efficient training system aligned with BU’s strategic growth plan (including development of training system/structure, content creation and updating, training delivery and follow up on KPI’s, and train-the-trainer activities) – both for own sales force and for sales force of key distributors.

MAIN POSITION DUTIES

? Training Manager will be responsible for the full spectrum of training activities for the BU with the primary focus in China. The quantity of people to be trained will grow fast – both internal and external – from current 20 own sales people and approximately 30 external.
? Working closely with the BU’s China team members, this individual will build a best-class training system/framework that is both efficient and scalable
? The training modules will be best practices from the group’s other entities, adapted to Chinese market realities and the BU’s growth ambitions in China. When those modules are not available within the group, they need to be developed from scratch, using best world practices.
? The modules will include but not limited to:
o Value Added and System selling, Upselling
o Presentation skills
o Project management skills
o Product trainings
o Key account management (both end customer and distributor focused)
o Various e-learning modules
? Training Manager will deliver the trainings in person in the most efficient and up-to date manner.
? Training Manager will ensure that trainings are efficient and knowledge is used by doing systematic follow ups, joint visits, on-the-job trainings and audits with own team.
? At a later stage the Training Manager will be working with government organizations to create a next generation training education framework in the area of (hand) hygiene in China.
? Training Manager will be responsible for the planning and budgeting process.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

? Considering the cultural and organizational complexity, this position requires a high-calibre person who has the ambition to build and lead the function from scratch and has the patience and persistence to own the function for 2 or 3 years until this function is fully mature and running smoothly;
? A down-to-earth implementer with good balance of strategic thinking and planning skills;
? Eager and passionate in working and development him/herself in a fast growing entrepreneurial MNC with good learning capabilities to embrace the challenging environment;
? Excellent language proficiency in both written and oral English with excellent presentation and training skills, able to deliver training programs in English and Chinese;
? Excellent team player and great communicator to step up into the role of business development along with growth of BU’s business in China;
? Be flexible to handle the big percentage of traveling (50 – 60%);
? Must have both training and real sales experience, preferably in B2B environment;
? Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills;
? Mature personality, able to give straightforward feedback to peer sales people in order to identify skill gaps and improve performance.
