1. Purpose of the Job
The Associate Director, Treasury APAC is responsible for the risk management of the APAC zone. APAC Limited (“Budweiser APAC”), a standalone subsidiary of AB Inbev, the world’s largest brewer. The Associate Director to lead commodities and FX forecasting and exposure management process across Bud APAC countries (including China, East Asia (Korea and Japan), India and Southeast Asia) to 1) define and maintain a level of cash flow uncertainty coming from market risk factors that is acceptable to its stakeholders, given a certain expected level of cash flow 2) analyze individual risk factors by stress scenarios and/or simulations to define the potential impact and risks to P&L and cash flow 3) exposure is managed in the most efficient way with minimum finance cost and maximum return 4) all the treasury related requirements as a listing company are fulfilled
2. Accountabilities
The Associate Director is responsible for:
? Commodities and FX
- Own exposure management process of identifying commodities and FX exposures, defining hedge strategy, forecasting, and validating monthly postings
- Analyze all contracts with embedded risk exposures (procurement, raw material, imports, exports) and ensure that exposures are hedged with proper and effective underlying index in the underlying contracts
- Build up hedge strategy for commodities for financial hedge coverability development
- Analyze exposure forecast on monthly basis to make sure the latest sales, production and sourcing plan are in line with the latest exposure forecast
- Place hedge requests to GHQ treasury to secure optimal financial coverage and minimize P&L impact in case under-hedged or over-hedged is observed
- Validate monthly postings to hedge accounts, highlighting unusual items and communicating to GHQ/local teams for validation and solution
- Manage annual commodities and FX budgeting to lock in risks to ensure all upside and downside risks expected are budgeted in P&L, coordinating with FP&A and Procurement
- Prepare presentations and updates to senior management on exposures, results and recommendation
- Present economic outlooks on regular basis
- Prepare the below EBITDA net financing costs budget, forecasts, and performance tracking
- Proactively generate ideas that is NPV accretive to the company
- Identify Treasury process improvement opportunities, develop and implement best practice across AB Inbev
? Option exposure hedging
- Manage option exposure forecasting, and build up hedge strategy, coordinating with legal team

? External stakeholders: Banks
4. Qualifications and Technical competencies required
Education:
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics, Finance, or Business, CFA or MBA preferred
Experience:
? A minimum of 8 years business experience in corporate finance or banks
? Demonstrated strength in financial analysis and communication
Technical competencies:
? Strong oral, written and presentation skills
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
? Absolute integrity in dealing with confidential and stock price sensitive information
? The ability to think and act independently. A self-starter.
? Highly developed influencing skills
? Helicopter view and strong interest in the business and other matters that might influence
? Comfort and experience working internationally and with different cultures
? Fluent in English and Mandarin;
