2. Build strong relationships with the Buying Teams
3. Build up your Commercial knowledge: spending time in our stores & our competitors, study the weekly bestsellers from both Retail & EC. Be fully immersed in the Chinese Web sites & Social Media
4. Actively participate in any brainstorming or workshops to develop your skills
5. Show initiative, contribute ideas to improve your category
6. Manage your time to effectively to meet the deadlines 
7. Process a strong system knowledge - Illustrator, Photoshop, Power-point & PLM
8. Ensure all data in the PLM is accurate & the designs are clear
9. Ensure you have a clear understanding of the ONLY consumer, bring innovation & the latest Asian trends
10. Learn to recognize the key selling point of all garments, know how to improve or enhance the original inspiration
11. Know how to problem solve & create ideas on the spot
12. Competent at pulling relevant research for your category & ensure you present convincingly & in the correct format
13. Constantly research new & improved fabrics for your category, regularly visit the fairs, bring innovation & help build up the material & detail library
14. Be reliable in sample buying - hunt for the new, cool & commercial products - communicate with your Managers to bring out the best ideas & concepts
15. Contribute to the library of finishing & detail ideas - help keep it updated & refer to it regularly
16. Use the Core Library whenever possible & ensure your garments are seasonally correct. 
17. Present your creations convincingly in the Development Meetings, be prepared with your data & be ready to help create & resolve problems on the spot
18. Take responsibility when presenting your category to Retail & Senior Management, ensure you have all the research to explain your design
19. Show passion & a positive attitude. Be flexible & professional at all times. Have an open mind & always listen. Actively learn & continuously improve yourself & your category performance
