As a Software R&D Engineer you will be responsible for executing device communication test between Gateways and low-level devices, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.

Reporting to the R&D Team Manager, you will apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.

- Analyzing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborating closely with other team members and departments
- Executing all levels of testing (Unit, System, Integration, performance and Regression)
- Executing device communication test between Gateways and low-level devices
- Designing and developing automation scripts when needed
- Detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies
- Providing timely solutions
- Applying quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle and providing support and documentation

- 3+ years of experience as a software Tester or similar role
- A bachelor’s degree or above, major in Computer Science and Network Engineering related,
- Experience in Protractor/Selenium, Agile development and Scrum
- Experience in Java script front tests, API testing skill preferred and able to write JavaScript automation test cases.
- Knowledge about Azure DevOps Test Plants platform or similar testing tools, Linux and Shell
- Knowledge about Jenkins, Cypress, MSSQL, MySQL etc. Database tech.
- Fluency in English communication
