As a R&D Associate Engineer you will be responsible for all the R&D related activities, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.

Reporting to the R&D Technology Manager, you will be working under the global technology department, handling the global R&D project.

- Creating mechanical designs as 3D models for both assemblies and single parts
- Deriving 2D drawings and implementing them into the required tools
- Deriving Bill of Material (BOM) and implementing them into the required tools
- Creating images required for internal and external documents as well as software tool front end screens
- Sourcing and reviewing prototype parts/ 0-series
- Executing mechanical calculations resulting in input for guidelines and/ or mechanical designs (e.g. air flow calculation, force calculation, electrical device coordination, etc.)
- Being a technical author for internal and external manufacturing documentation in English

- 1 to 5 years of experience in relevant industry experience
- Excellent working knowledge in Solidworks and Auto-CAD is required
- Basic electrical knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A degree in mechanical background, master’s degree is preferred
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with the relevant IEC standard is desirable
- Effective communication with across different cultures. Must be self-motivated and be able to work under high pressure
