Responsibilities:

    

1. Planning: Review forecast, safety stock and system suggested reqs in APO. Define accurate reqs needed in each shipping window based on standard lead time, correct ordering cycle, MOQ. Make sure MDL’s good service level and vendors go with normal production plan.

    

2. Inventory Management: Communicate directly with the vendors to expedite shortage, push out/cancel excess, balance items to different branches as needed to keep MDL’s MIOH within healthy level.

    

3. Forecast and Capacity Regular Review: check with demand planners in each region about forecasting with big fluctuation and have vendors pre-alerted of the change to adjust production plan accordingly in advance.

    

5. Issue Solving: Always escalate issue in most effective and timely manner. Co-work with sourcing, division, quality, and artwork team to define raising issues and find solution.

    

6. Regular Meeting: Keep close contact by regular call or meeting with each region’s IM about hot items, pending issues, any other open topics.

    

7. Vendors KPI review: take action for late penalty and poor vendor performance.

    

8. Other tasks or projects as assigned by Shanghai supply chain manager.

    

    

Requirements:

    

1. Bachelor’s Degree, knowledge of international trade or logistics is preferred.

    

2. At least 2-3 years supply chain experiences in Production / Supply Chain or equivalent in Multi-national Company environment and preferably in supervising/measuring performance of outsource vendors in the region.

    

3. Computer Skills: Proficient at Office software like Excel, PPT.

    

4. Good written and oral English.

    

5. Strong sense of urgency, results orientated; excellent time management and organizational skills as well as communication skills.

    

6. SAP/APO is highly preferred.
