Primary Purpose

Ensure all Asia retail operations are in compliance with policies, requirements regarding financial controls, Loss Prevention/Security controls, inventory controls, as well as personnel controls and in accordance with local regulations. Act as a business partner for Tapestry Asia Retail Management Team across Coach/Kate Spade/Stuart Weitzman.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in xxx (function) to...

- Establish and manage the control procedures for retail stores located throughout Asia Pacific by conducting monthly store visits and audits (onsite or remote)

- Ensure shop operations comply with retail operation manual and policies through monthly store audits

- Review monthly internal control self assessment from retails stores and communicate the results with retail management.

- Provide regular policy training with retail stores to enhance internal control awareness at store level.

- Close interaction and coordination with stores and retail management by attending meetings and by creating business partnerships & relationships

- Consult with all levels of management on techniques to strengthen risk management and internal controls and communicate those concerns to the management teams

- Implement loss prevention policies that highlight control and accountability, after discussion with field management

- Identify and assess any potential risk areas for retail stores

- Investigate reported fraud case as required.

- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English as well as strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are required. The position frequently interacts with Retail Management and stores. Person in this role will need to develop relationships to leverage best practices across the company.

- Superior work ethics and initiatives, and be a dependable team player to perform in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

- Be inquisitive, analytical and logical thinking, organized and self-motivated, mature and innovative

- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

- +5 years audit/assurance experience with big 4 or compliance department in MNC

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and finance operation systems

- Luxury retail industry experience is a plus, so is any finance / accounting experience outside of auditing

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean is a plus

- Frequent travel is required (30%).
