Responsibilities:

1.   Develop global strategy for assigned commodity;

2.   Support execution of global strategy in region;

3.   Engage in supplier relationship management;

4.   Deliver business results related to savings KPI targets as part of annual budget (includes development/execution of savings projects as well as ongoing negotiation with suppliers);

5.   Assist other Global Commodity Managers in execution of their assigned strategies (including execution of identified savings initiatives or strategic negotiation in-region);

6.   Mentor and coach junior team members to high grade talent.

           

Qualifications:

1.   Fluent English and Mandarin required;

2.   BS in engineering required or supply chain field, MBA preferred, Desired: Degrees in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;

3.   Proficient in Excel – basic formulas;

4.   Required min 7-10 years experience in sourcing or purchasing roles in manufacturing-related industries;

5.   Experience in strategy, finance, and/or project/program management desired.

6.   Experience in international contract review;

7.   Ability to travel as needed
