Job Description:
-University degree in Chemical/Mechanical engineering. A degree in Business administration would be an added advantage.
-10-15 year experience in a retail sales environment in industries such as lubricants, automotive accessories or FMCG's (Fast moving consumer goods) with good distributor management skills. The experience should include at least 5 years in a managerial position responsible for leading a team.
-Should be a self starter and be able to see and grab opportunities without waiting to be told what is to be done.
-Knowledge of English is important but not a must for an exceptional candidate.
-Should have excellent communication and negotiating skills.
-Should have strong awareness of the Chinese lubricants/automotive parts market and should be able to spot and grab opportunities.
-Should be result oriented rather than task oriented.
-Should have maturity and be able to work as a team player.
Job Requirement:
-Achieve the sales target as per the requirements of the company by expanding the distribution network in the empty market areas by appointing new distributors and in areas where the company has distributors, expand the retailer and garage network.
-Help the company to build, maintain and nurture an effective sales team. Ensure that the sales team maintains the discipline as per the rules and regulations of the company and are kept motivated to do their best and achieve their targets. Plan, implement and participate in the training of the sales team.
-Support subordinates by developing their skills, helping them to tackle their problems, continuous on-the-job training and team building.
-Review the sales team reporting system and ensure effective monitoring and control of the sales men through monthly reviews in order to ensure that the sales team meets the desired targets of the company and uses the resources of the company effectively.
-Implement the sales strategies of the company through the sales team including sales schemes, promotion schemes etc and control expenses within the budget.
-Collect market intelligence in terms of current market happenings, trends, competitor activities, analyze the information and report to the MD. Maintain a data base of all retailers and garages in the areas the company operates.
-Make strategic planning for the next year.
-Interact with our distributors regularly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
