ABB's High Voltage Products team provides products which help enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate developments in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.

- Drive the supplier qualification/re-qualification process and ensure the supply base is and remain fully qualified and compliant.
- Drive PPAP process according to BU instruction. monitor sample, 0-series quality and make improvement.
- Operationally lead and fast execute upcoming supply issues like quality issues, non-conforming products or project services. Handling the escalated issues from local units.
- Conduct supplier assessments and improvement plan in collaboration with suppliers. Assist the sup-plier to drive from quality testing into quality assurance driving process quality.
- Develop and support targeted suppliers to achieve ongoing conformity with Customer and ABB requirements and continuous improvement in quality, e.g. reduction of variation and cost or increase of sustainability, service/delivery performance. Monitor and report supplier performance (KPIs), quality issues, and development actions.
- Define & develop with local unit counterparts (Sourcing, Quality, Operations, R&D / Technology) local quality procedures & practices. Ensure that defined systems and practices are in line with existing Group/Division/BU instructions and procedures. Contribute to instruction of “Supplier Non-conformance Reporting Process” (SNCRP)
- Complete special quality improvement/management projects, as required (e.g C3 & SPC).
- Interface with global functions on supplier quality initiatives.

- A Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- 6 years of working experience relating to quality management, knowledge of high voltage and quality assurance, process control are preferred.
- Familiar with manufacturing process, e.g. Machining, Casting (Al & Insulating part), Welding etc.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP, 8D, 6 Sigma tools include statistical analysis (e.g., Minitab, MSA, SPC).
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- Well-developed analytical abilities, systematically problem-solving and quality improvement skill.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
