RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Facilitate design, implementation and enhancement of a scalable and redundant SAP infrastructure taking into account the balance between location/communication/risk and ensuring at all times that KONE is making cost effective and future-proof investments in IT.
? Maintain peak availability for all SAP Services by managing the outsourcing partner through effective use of all ITIL processes (i.e. Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management etc.) and operational reviews.
? Manage effectively Output Management, Job scheduling & other auxiliary system to further improve Business systems performance while optimizing the IT infrastructure.
? Manage the virtual SAP Performance Tuning Team leveraging the expertise of GD, SAP, IBM & HP on services restoration, performance improvement and new services delivery to the end-customers.
? Notify users of disruptions to SAP service levels affecting business operations & distribute regular reports & information on GD activities & performance
? Evaluate and improve processes and procedures relating to SAP Operations service delivery
? Establish the foundations for a knowledgeable and responsive SAP Infrastructure Operations organization.
? Support GD Release activities and regional rollout of service changes as requested
? Build know-how in core competency service areas, analyze the service market, identify best practices & define improvement requirements & action plans



EXPERIENCE
? Minimum 5 years experience in managing IT Operational activities
? Good experience of managing & working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
? Cross-functional exposure (ideally service, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, IS installation etc.)
? International experience: Awareness that there are different ways of interacting with people & diverse modes of conducting business in different cultural environments.

BUSINESS / TECHNICAL SKILLS
? Proven ability to manage service improvement projects on time, within budget & with desired outcome (ROI).
? Strong knowledge of SAP suite of applications
? Technical skills in SAP NetWeaver Solution Stack, IBM DB2, .Net, Java &/or complementary partner solutions (Cronacle, HPOS, Documentum etc.).
? Ability to keep track of multiple projects running in parallel
? Understanding of help desk function
? Understanding of KONE Model & process integration objectives
