ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.

Clear understand industry trend, market segmentation, building application and customer needs, support solution leaders to define go-to-market strategy and future solution roadmap, actively engage customer events and content creation to create though leadership position and demand creation on building segment


- Clear understanding of China building (Residential / Office / Hotel / Hospital / Retail / other buildings) market size and trends, deep diving into the key sub-segments and key accounts in buildings, deep understanding building application and technology trends, understanding customer needs and pain points, translating customer needs to ABB solution opportunities, understanding competitor’s movement, solutions, strengths and weakness, suggesting on our solutions roadmap and offer gap analysis.
- Working with solution leaders to define EL go-to-market strategy and key account sales plan; contribute on country business plan for building segment, providing solutions and offer gaps analysis, supporting PMD for defining solutions and offer roadmap, supporting PMD on solutions commercialization strategy.
- Providing marketing tools on building solutions, including sales pitch, Website content, etc. and leverage the global segment organization for helping to train the local teams, using expert understanding of customer and industry behavior.
- As a speaker, attending external seminar or forum to present ABB solutions in building market, as a content owner, providing building solution articles, social media content, for building up “though leadership” in Building market and ensuring timely reporting of key business metrics relating to the datacenter segment and representing the country /region at local management forums, global segment leadership forums and as required for ensuring the segment requirements and performance are well understood.
- Key deliverable like doing analysis like China building market analysis report (market size, market share, competition, customer needs, etc.), strategy, Go-to-market strategy (target sub-segments/customers, key offers, influence plans, etc.) solution and offer gaps analysis in Buildings.
- Tools like ABB EL Building external PPT, Building solutions whitepaper, technical article, other marketing tools and contents.
- Training for building application training course and promotion: present building solutions in external seminars and KPI should be EL Building order, completed and approved market report and go-to-market strategy, Complete marketing tools (number of contents on building, including article, social media, etc.), sales trained on Building and seminars to present.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.


- Must be having a bachelor’s degree from university.
- Diversity of experience in industry and while building design institute or consultant experience is preferred it is not essential.
- A broad knowledge of ABB products, design and services within the industry (electrical distribution, extra-low voltage, green building) is considered essential.
- The ability to navigate the ABB organization is equally valuable.
- Must have proved strong experiences on the roles include business development, key account management, marketing, and technical specification.
