Role purpose

To execute and support IT change initiatives driven by business

To provide project and change management support during IT initiatives

To execute and support data driven business insight change initiatives

Accountabilities

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Demonstrated ability to influence data driven solutions that support and enable business strategies
• Ability to assemble and lead cross functional teams to implement commercial solutions effectively and with quality
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and as a result enable the entire IT Delivery team to align business requirements with IT capabilities
• Build and maintain a stakeholder network in your assigned area
• Interact and influence with different cultural backgrounds and behaviors

Communication

• Communicate with impact both with stakeholders as well as clients and collaborate across boundaries
• Ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written methods to multiple levels of stakeholders
• Ability to listen effectively and establish rapport with business stakeholders to effectively operate at the leadership level

Business Acumen & Understanding of IT Landscape

• Familiar with the business and market drivers that influence an organizations commercial and operational decision making - agricultural business familiarity
• Maintain an understanding of the IT systems and business processes within your functional area and the interdependencies across other functional areas
• Maintain an understanding of the relationships between assigned business process, people and technology and other Syngenta IT systems and processes

Business Analysis & Solution Delivery Skills

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate into accurate data driven business insight.
• Provide business process knowledge and support for clients across Syngenta
• Lead IT solution design and fit/gap analysis
• Experience in designing effective data analytics implementation via different tools(Power BI/Qlik) and that contribute to a positive user experiences
• Ability to apply understanding of business processes to IT technologies
• Translate business requirements into requirement specifications to enable the delivery of technically sustainable solutions
• Manage the documentation of all IT change (including requirements, process, testing and training) along with the maintenance of their context in relation to the overall enterprise business architecture
• Ensure quality assurance through thorough test script creation, execution, business acceptance and promotion to production environments
• Ability to train business users on implemented IT solutions and support in the roll-out to the broader organization

Problem Solving/Solution Design

• Navigate through complex problems and environments
• Understand IT integrations and business architecture
• Ensure defined commercial solution is appropriate and fit for purpose
• To lead the evaluation and confirmation of technical solutions for the assigned IT change
• Understand the end to end impact, along with cross functional impact and then formulate a solution and implement using the Syngenta governance model
• Data Analytics and Platform Integration

Project Management

• Perform project management activities for projects and changes, as needed
• Ensure IT changes are implemented seamlessly
• Support changes, projects and programs with functional and regional insights, operational experience and business process expertise

Collaborative Working

• To consult and support other IT Delivery Teams and business colleagues in identification and delivery of IT change and setting priorities
• Work effectively with offshore or 3rd Party providers to deliver solutions

Technical Delivery and Solution Support

• Manage the E2E scope
• Manages risks, issues and resolutions
• Steer future improvement in cost and quality

Required Critical experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or IT related field or technical discipline
• 3 – 7 years’ experience working in an digital transformation environment
• 3 years’ experience working on data analysis
• Demonstrated project management and change management experience
• Excellent internal and external communication skills
• Familiar with Agil methodology
