ABB Power Grids offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain - enabling a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.

You will deliver technical support for high quality innovative consulting service in the area of in RE (renewable energy) and its integration, active distribution network, integrated energy system and industry electrical power systems.

- Renewable energy, distributed energy resources: delivery and integration.
- Power distribution network: reliability, efficiency, high RE penetration in planning, construction, operation and maintenance.
- Micro grid / regional grid / integrated energy system.
- Power transmission: HVDC, VSC HVDC, FACTS, etc.
- Energy Storage and its applications.
- Power system modeling, simulation, analysis.
- Control strategy development.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- A Master’s degree or Ph.D student, strong technical background (electrical engineering, control & automation, power electronics).
- Excellent innovation capability, strong executer, Open minded and team spirit.
- Self-motivated, willing to take responsibility for different tasks and new challenges, strong ownership.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Good communication skills.
