职位描述

Position Description:
The PBM (Procurement Brand Manager) is a member of the of Lenovo Procurement organization that will be responsible for supporting the Desktop Business unit bringing desktop products to market.

As part of a world-wide Procurement organization, the PBM is responsible to manage the overall Procurement new product process for desktop products. The PBM is responsible for the Desktop procurement new product introductions (NPI) and the Procurement parts product life-cycle management. The PBM is the primary interface to the Desktop Business Unit responsible for driving desktop product parts supply, commodity road-maps and strategies for Lenovo’s desktops. The PBM is also the key interface to the global commodity managers in an international team, as well as working cross functionally with the end to end global supply chain team to manage all parts for global new product launches and technology transitions.

Responsibility:
- Procurement program manager, represent Global Procurement in new product introduction team ( ODT )
- Communication channel between Procurement & Idea&China DT Brand, Position is responsible for leading/interfacing with cross functional teams in sourcing decisions and in managing ongoing supplier operational performance to achieve success of business.
- Risk Management: minimize single source, capacity management, long leadtime management
- Cost Management : Achieve product cost targets, Propose lower cost alternatives, Drive commonality to achieve lower component costs
- Complexity Reduction: Drive Commodity Strategies across Portfolio, Identify complexity reduction opportunities to GCM & DT Brand
- Lead internal functions to solve cost, supply and support issues.

Position Requirements:
- Good communciation skill
- Strong communication skills, fluent oral/written English
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Mechanical, Electronics, Business
- Professional knowledge in purchasing operation and supplier management - Project management capability
-3 to 4 years' experience in electronics industry, sourcing or project management experience
-more than 4 years of supply chain experience, especially relating to new product introduction, product life-cycle management, commodity management, and/ or manufacturing project management
