Management of Novo Nordisk China legal entity’s liquidity and funding
Optimisation of banking structure, cash management solutions and capital structure in China
Maintain good local relationships with Chinese authorities, and relevant key stakeholders
Project management and ad hoc
Guidelines and Policies
The treasury tasks and decisions are to be carried out in accordance with the guidelines and policies stated in the Treasury Manual for Affiliates and Novo Nordisk China treasury principles.
The treasury task need to strictly follow SAFE regulation and bank transaction regulation controlled by PBoC.

Main tasks:
Management of Novo Nordisk China legal entity’s liquidity and funding:
Act as a Treasury Regional Officer, coordination and execution of all Treasury affairs for NN China operating units, i.e. NNCP, NNST, NNIT TJ, NNE TJ, NNTW, and NNHK.
Prepare the long-term and review with Corporate Treasury to set up China financing strategy
Ensure sufficient cash to support NN China’s business growth, with funding internally and externally, with reasonable finance cost.
To prepare short-term cash flow forecast, say rolling 18 months, and review with Corporate Treasury to facilitate liquidity and funding arrangement
Lead the capital injection and financing arrangement in China with Corporate Treasury
Review with cooperate banks, to set up the most favorable credit facility for NN China and monitoring the use of such credit lines.
Find the right model and level for repatriation of funds from China
Centralize cash management at NN China, and further improve the cash management with operating units and other legal entities with e.g. cash pooling, entrust loan etc. To setup cash pooling for NN China operating units, i.e. CNY or foreign currency if relevant
Assure the compliance with internal guidance and regulations

Optimisation of banking structure, cash management solutions and capital structure in China:
Optimisation of banking structure in China in order to achieve competitive pricing conditions and competitive technical solutions
Benchmark the treasury professionals to ensure competitive pricing conditions
Continuously to have forex. (“FX”) bidding between Citi bank and ICBC to maximize the exchange saving
Keep an eye on CNY cross border transaction development and provide feasibility study as relevant
Investigate the suitable FX model for potential CNY hedging. Cross functional analysis with involvement of Corporate Treasury.
Optimisation of cash management solutions in China in order to achieve competitive cash balances
Optimisation of capital structure in China
Review with cooperate banks of financial product, including both CNY and FX, keep on an eye on China’s legislation development, and recommend the suitable capital structure of Novo Nordisk China legal entities, and review the capital structure periodically to assure it an optimised one.

Maintain good local relationships with Chinese authorities, and relevant key stakeholders, and bank service management:
Monthly review with Corporate Treasury re cash flow forecasting and material cash implication event update, i.e. BAPA etc.
Arrange periodical visits, potentially with Finance VP/Finance Director, to key external partners, i.e. SAFE, local banks, potential banks, etc.
Monitoring of Citibank service level (in particular team in Tianjin/TEDA)

Project management and ad hoc:
Potential global treasury project, i.e. IHB set up, cooperate banks credit rating review, etc.
Ad hoc assigned by China finance director

Education:
Bachelor or Master degree with relevant major
Over 5 years of working experience in treasury or financial management
Over 2 years of working experience as a treasury manager in MNCs or banks
China CPA (+ Internationally recognized professional degree e.g. CFA, ACCA or CIMA)
