I. Role/Overall objectives:

Supports ELIP business for the daily shipment planning and execution ensuring cost, quality and on time delivery to its internal / external customers. Principal responsibilities include: logistics support and execution, ownership and trade compliance control of all the import/export transactions. This role will be the business interface and point of contact for the Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Center teams, the Sales and Operation Management Teams, as well as external 3rd parties that support the end-to-end logistics processes to ensure compliance with all internal and external requirements and regulations. This role reports to the Global Trade Compliance Leader.

II. Key Accountabilities/ Execution:

• Develop, maintain and improve transport logistics processes to optimize inbound / outbound product and material delivery

• Coordinate daily activities to track location and movement of goods via all transport routes and re-routes as needed to meet all transportation demands and minimize cost

• Communicates fulfillment status to Sales and Operation Management Teams

• Provide accurate shipping invoices and related export / import documents to all customers, shipping agents and other related parties

• Works closely with transport service providers and brokers to ensure efficient and effective execution process, assists in obtaining necessary transport permits and codes and prepares proper shipping documentation to support compliant movement of goods, including export-import requirements, where required

• Coordinate and record material movements and provide proper custody and control until delivery terms have been fulfilled

• Comply with established financial guidelines and provide for the timely execution of all transactions,

• Resolve post shipment inquiries and claims

• Control and improve data accuracy of logistics tracking system

• Control, maintain and improve current SOPs for Sales and Operation Management Teams

• Continue landscape for Asia region on all import and export processes, maintain data analysis for all import and exports.

• Trade compliance control functions for all import/export transactions for the region, scope includes hands on delivery of knowledge, information and execution of all compliance needs to all involved parties

III. Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:	- College degree from an accredited university,
Experience:	- 2+ year experience in logistics operations with all modes of transport
Technical skills:	- In depth knowledge of ICC incoterms - Strong knowledge of Asia regional and global export regulations and import regulations - Solid understanding of foreign customs and import requirements
Soft skills Competencies:	- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong knowledge of English language both oral as in writing - Ability to perform under pressure in an environment of high-volume transactions - Ability to plan, assign priorities and solve problems

IV. Desired Characteristics:

• Knowledge of various software applications (SAP, Trade sphere, Oracle, MS Office)

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified

• Minimum 2 years experience in complex logistics operations

• Demonstrated leadership in a global environment.

• Has the knowledge on day to day operational compliance on a global scale, understands the difference per trade region and has the ability to act and respond quickly to new regulations

• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly, quick thinker, flexible and positive attitude towards work, co-workers and managers. Strong team player with eye on delivering on time, saving cost and full compliance on all transactions.
