Area of Responsibilities:

1. Owns the creation of business cases for purpose of decision making in the context of new product development projects and product lifecycle management.

2. Owns the definition of global product launch strategies.

3. Actively supports the global downstream marketing teams by setting strategic pricing guidelines, developing and improving marketing tools and conducting sales trainings.

4. Performs quantitative market opportunity assessments (i.e. market sizing, driver assessment, growth rate estimations) and customer segmentation analyses.

5. Work close with R&D team for own product folio product sustaining and enhancement.

6. Drive Voice of the Customer activities that result in the enhancement of our program / product portfolio while validating new, sustainable differentiated opportunities.

7. Actively participates in internal sales and marketing meetings, customer events as well as international trade fairs and conferences.

8. Support the strategic roadmap for responsible product portfolio.

9. Develops ideas for innovative product concepts together with a team of application and Innovation Managers.

10. Reports-out on global top line and profitability performance of product portfolio to senior management and makes recommendations for actions.

Person Specification:

1. Studies in Business/Marketing or Natural Sciences/Biology/Biomedical engineering (graduate degree preferred).

2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product management and preferably also in sales.

3. Successful track record in technology or science driven business settings with a preference for medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

4. Strong commercial and strategic mindset.

5. A progressive, creative thinker, with analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to integrate best practices.

6. Ability to translate and convincingly communicate data into actionable information.

7. Excellent discussion, facilitation and listening skills.

8. Experience in working with multinational teams within a matrix organization.

9. Hands-on attitude with go-to mentality and high degree of self-motivation.

10. Strong presentation and communication skills.

11. Excellent language skills in English both written and verbal.
