As a Sales Support Engineer, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Business and Grid Integration Business Line (BL), based in Shanghai. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.

You will play a key support role for the Sales team, preparing sales proposals in Grids and Power Quality Solutions Product Group/ Grid Integration Business Line (BL)/ Power Grids (PG) Business in Shanghai /China country/NAS region. You will support sales for effective selling ABB's electrical system integration package in transmission & distribution substation to the existing and potential industry and utility customer.

- To assist the Sales for marketing and sales activities for substation projects.
- Work closely with sales to contact and discuss with customer on an efficient basis.
- Prepare the technical presentation to customer.
- To provide sales support activities to Sales to sell substation package.
- Prepare commercial & technical offer.
- Technical clarification and cost justification.
- Monitor supplier’s commercial & technical proposal.
- Job pre-calculation sheet preparation.
- Risk review document preparation with sales.
- Prepare the project transfer document to transfer the project to the operation team.

- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of working experience in Electrical Industry and working experience in Multinational Company, Design Institute and Engineering Company is preferred.
- Knowledge of Electrical Power System, Product and Application like HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformer, protection & control etc.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel.
- Good communication ability and team work.
- Fluent in English communication skills.
