As a Warehouse Manager, ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.

You will be the first and consistent point of contact for customers and business partners of the Sales & Marketing Unit China Product Group/ EL Marketing and Sales Business Line/ Electrification Business in Shanghai /China country/NAS region. You will be responsible for managing fluctuations in market demand and supply reliability to ensure stock range and availability is delivered in accordance with agreed levels. Accountable for assuring operational performance. Lead productivity and process improvements in warehouse operations to deliver cost efficiencies and optimize service level performance.

- Implement the Global Division and Business Unit logistics strategy in the countries in scope and ensures logistic support to sales strategy. Provide input to Global Division and Business Unit logistics strategy.
- Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focus on achievement of EBITA%, Requested on Time Delivery (CROTD and ROTD), Total Cycle Time (Purchase Order from the customer/delivery to the customer), stock availability (order line from stock), ITO (Inventory Turn Over), quality index. Health & Safety, logistics costs and General & Admin Cost.
- Contribute to improving the Transport and Logistics distribution network in the area in scope in accordance with Division Strategy.
- Support implementation of continuous improvement projects on site to improve operational weaknesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, through the local Sales organizations (LSOs), with existing customers to ensure high satisfaction levels and identify the logistics needs. Track the quality level and ensure appropriate action towards logistics quality improvement.
- Implement health, safety and environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations in the warehouse on behalf of the Division and in the area of responsibility. Personally, lives the ABB values and Group standards.
- Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization. Ensure the accuracy of the Division financial statement reported.
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Build an effective, capable and high performing organization. Develop talent, appoints managers and reviews effectiveness.

- 10+ years of cumulated experience in the Warehouse Implementation of continuous Improvement Operations/Project and Team Management experience with good tracking record.
- Motivated self-starter, with a keen interest in developing and implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Strong ERP Knowledge and cross modules.
- Ability to work effectively with senior management.
- Lean six sigma green belt or superior.
- Mature and composed person adept at managing change and handling resistance effectively associated to the implementation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy, results oriented environment with enthusiasm.
- Good project management and strong personal leadership skills.
- Ability to promote a team environment and well-established customer-oriented attitude.
- Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin.
