As an Intern-Algorithm Design, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Business and High Voltage Products (BL) Business Line, based in Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.

- Work in R&D project teams on algorithm improvement for key parameters for circuit breaker monitoring devices.
- Raw data processing, algorithm design, simulation and verification.
- Supporting the software developer to implement the algorithm in devices.
- Document, summary and present with the improved algorithm.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Experience with data/signal processing: filtering, de-noising, eigenvalue extraction and etc.
- Familiar with Matlab, R or python.
- Fluent in written, reading and verbal English.
- Self-motivated, innovative, structured and systematic thinking, strong result-driven, high-quality and speed player.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, team spirit and strong communication skills.
