As a Sales Manager, you will be part of the Electrification Business and Marketing and Sales (BL) Business Line, based in Guangzhou. ABB is the world leader in offering the Electrification Products and Systems that provide Building Products, Electrification Solutions, Installation Products, Protection and connection and Medium Voltage Products
You will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Lead the team to build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities, especially for digital solution.
- Plan and implement sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, especially for digital solutions. Achieve sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency.
- Establish sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
- Lead the team to establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution, especially for digital solution. Ensure a positive customer experience.
- Lead the team to identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. Identify digital sales opportunities and promote digital solutions to customers.
- Ensure (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within policies. Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, major in Science or Electrical/ Automation Engineering major is preferred.
- 5+ years of Sales experience in related industries, strong sales competency with digital capability & knowledge.
- Experience and knowledge of digitalization (automation) project.
- Expert of Team Management.
- Strong learning ability, customer orientation, strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity.
- Result driven, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good at team work.
- Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management and commercial and legal terms.
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude.
