Role Summary/Purpose:

The QA manager will oversee manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, daily production schedule, as well as production environment control of Medline suppliers to assure product safety and quality. Managing field engineers who monitoring daily production of suppliers and providing leadership and support.

Job Responsibilities

 

 

• Collaborate with other function teams within Medline, get more insight of business demand, identify the risks beforehand, be prepared to adapt to changes relates to order/vendor shifts. Meanwhile influence the other functions to take decisive actions from the quality perspectives.

• Build effective relationship with various levels of management, including factory owners/ managers at the factories. Work closely with vendors, motive them for continuous improvement, and willingly listen to their concerns.

• Supplier audit and assessment, escalate the critical finding, work out action plan for supplier process& production control improvement, follow through to ensure actions are implemented and sustained;

• Streamline the work processes, control points and reporting formats along Quality management.

• Provide mutual leadership on people developing like talent acquisition, coach, growth and retention; continuously develop team members through daily work and performance management.

• Participate in the plant-wide effort to reduce scrap and rework costs, and to identify root causes and solutions for quality defects.

• Ensure the meaningful and timely resolution of CAPA’s, non-conformances, complaints and change controls.

• Participate and lead qualification and validation of Quality Control equipment/ processes per requested

   

  Qualifications/Requirements

1. The ideal candidate must be well organized, detail oriented and has the flexibility to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
2. This individual must have a high regard for personal accountability and understand the critical importance of commitment

1. Working and dealing calmly and effectively under high pressure. This includes continuing to persevere and remaining calm in challenging circumstances.

2. Minimum of 3-year experience in supervisory and managerial experience.

3. Minimum of 5-year experience working in a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environment, quality control/assurance, manufacturing/operation.

4. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, material or related field

5. Strong communication skills, verbal and written

6. Leadership, Inspired and influencing

7. Software skills including Excel, Word, Power Point, Project

8. Good reporting and presentation skill

9. Open minded, self-management and strong teamwork spirits

10. Knowledge in quality system regulations (QSR etc.) will be preferred;
