As a Digital Business Development Specialist, you will be part of the Motion (M) Business and Motors and Generators (BL) Business Line, based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion (M) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will play a key support role for the Sales team, preparing sales proposals in BL Function Digital Product Group/ Motors and Generators (BL) Business Line / Motion (M) Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Reporting to the LBU Digital Lead, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in bringing efficient and effective solutions to customers.

? Responsible for digital product promotion and assist to make the marketing strategy.
? Work with sales team to drive value selling.
? Help assessing and filtering of leads. Assess the viability of prospects and ensure clarity and qualification of opportunities.
? Regularly visit key customers, collect effective information and analyze customer needs, and propose initial solutions.
? Understand and collect dynamic information about the competitor products.
? Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

? Sc. Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering field.
? Background and knowledge with Business Development experience, Digital experience in Industrial Company, rotational asset condition monitoring experience and Project management experience.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office.
? Fast learner with good communication skills.
? Strong spirit of teamwork, innovative and open minded and customer oriented.
? Fluent in oral and written English (CET-4 or above).
