Job Title:                Business Development Associate Manager

Report To：             Head of Medtronic Innovation Accelerator

                        

 

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES     

• Identify areas for apply innovation generated in China or global to solve unmet clinical needs in China

• Based on defined selection criteria and areas of focus, identify target company for Medtronic Accelerator’s incubation activities

• Evaluate market landscape and review innovative technology which has application potential in medical device field and provide thorough technology and therapy assessment

• Collect needs from incubates and build service deal between incubates and Medtronic affiliates teams or other service providers

• Organize regular activities, i.e. road show, to promote incubates for financing and building connection with Medtronic BUs or other business partners

• Lead and organize marketing activities to promote Accelerator, enhancing Accelerators’ influence in medical device industry

   

  JOB QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• Major in healthcare related domain, e.g., technology, engineering and clinical

• 5+ years’ experience in medical device industry, preferably combination of business development, marketing or financing w/ consulting background

• Strong understanding of healthcare system in China is mandatory

• Strong networking capabilities with startups/entrepreneurs, financial investors, local KOL/domain experts

• Excellent inter-personal communication & coordination skills;

• Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models

• Willing to take challenges in highly variable environment

• Passion for entrepreneurship

• Extreme perseverance for excellence and results
