Job Objective

1.      Develop vendor management strategy to monitor vendor’ performance to ensure effective and efficient delivery

2.      Communicate purchasing policies and procedures to all stakeholders and report exceptions in advance to ensure compliance.

3.      Engage key stakeholders and ensure that when issues arise, both the issue and the resolution are communicated in a timely manner.

4.      Ensure vendor review process is cross-functional and includes key business stakeholders to ensure vendor is delivering valued service.

5.      Build effective working relationship with internal teams to proactively determine outsourcing requirements.

6.      Complete the sourcing tasks within the agreed lead-time

7.      Liaise between internal teams and external suppliers to lead competitive bidding, price negotiation, contract signing and payment follow up etc. on specific clinical development outsourcing activities.

8.      Follow up with vendors for the sourcing activities to be delivered in agreed standard

9.      Proactively & independently identify issues and develop recommendation for resolution.

10.   Track and maintain up-to-date contract information and analyse performance on suppliers

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and above majored in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biological Science or related.

• Three years or above in foreign-funded Clinical Department in Medicine and Pharmaceutical Industry, rich experience in vendor management 

• Fluent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

•  Leadership in interacting with multiple internal/external stakeholders management

•  Excellent communication skill in both Chinese and English

•  Excellent skill in critical thinking and problem solving
