JOB TITLE: EHS Engineer, GC Commercial

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  

 

  

This position supports the Greater China EHS leader for the critical execution, compliance and performance of the GC EHS regulatory, management standards and practices.

  

 

  

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Environmental Health, Safety, Greater China.

    

 

    

MAIN JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

  

• Learns, understands and implements the prescribed EHS policies, procedures and standards of the organization and local government throughout Greater China Commercial organization.

• Follows up the implementation of the Medtronic EHS Strategic Plans throughout Greater China Commercial organization.

• Conducts EHS training to all commercial employees so as to ensure the compliance with related rules and regulations.

• Performs EHS daily work to support GC commercial business needs, including regular spot inspection, record archiving and follow-up the on-time corrective actions and preventive actions closure rate.

• Performs Medtronic Radiation Safety monitoring, Return Products, Hazardous Material and Waste Management, Occupational Health check, document review and update.   

• Investigates industrial accidents and injuries, collects and synthesizes data, prepares summaries for GC business partners.

• Maintains all EHS related files and records, conducts monthly/quarterly metrics data collecting and reporting.

• Undertakes on-site environmental safety and health audits (e.g. ISO14001, internal audit, OHSAS, local authority inspections) and specific investigation, and makes analytical reports.

• Provides EHS support for GC Commercial sites, new projects and New Business Model as required.

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS

               

  KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

                        

• Bachelor degree or above, in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, Science or related field preferred.

   

  JOB EXPERIENCE

• 1~2 year work experience in EHS management，experience in medical device manufacturing & commercial company preferred.
