Electronics Chief Design Engineer (CDE) is responsible to measure and analyze KONE electronics life cycle and vitality. Main activities are
1.Participate to quality improvement projects with suppliers and supplier quality management organization
2.Give input to global electronics development projects, i.e. on DfM and DfT
3.Participate to supplier audits as Technology representative
4.Report product change projects status at Category meetings and cross-functionally in electrification or signalization category
5.PCBA specific root-cause analysis tools maintaining and training for electronics team
6.Coordinate component engineering activities according to KONE component engineering process
7.Make and implement electronics unit test plans in line with designer and reliability function

Additional to CDE role, manager role will consists of
8.Leading electronics team and reporting to category
9.Generate key KPI's for product & product related process vitality follow-up
10.Manage production transfers and implementations in China, supporting global projects
11.Electronics product ownership on specific products


Requirements:
Education Background: Bachelor or master's degree in engineering (or equivalent)
Experience: Working experience in industrial electronics/signalization circuit design and/or writing requirement specifications is a must.
Skills, Proficiency:
1.Basic understanding of electronics design process from idea to actual product, including "out of the box" thinking, i.e. understanding product limitations from all perspectives during change process
2.Analytical approach, capability to document design work
3.Statistical process control tools creation competence (6sigma, LEAN, etc.)
4.Embedded systems (sw) knowledge is an asset
5.Minimum level of English verbal and writing skill shall be satisfactory, CET-6
