Position Description:

This position will be working as the key person of digital communications, who would independently develop strategies and execute digital or social programs and campaigns. Meanwhile, this position will be proactively involving in shaping Medtronic’s brand identity through digital and social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

(Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned)

1. Leads digital communications, developing strategy of digital communications and executing digital/social programs and campaigns to promote the brand to internal and external stakeholders.
2. Maintain and renovate Medtronic digital assets/platforms through content-based and technical solutions, the platforms may include but not limited to Medtronic official website, social accounts on Weibo and WeChat.
3. Executes the writing, editing and approval of online content, e.g. social posts, FAQs, branding collateral, etc.
4. Works with IT, Legal and other related departments to build up digital and social guidelines, cascading the guidelines to business units and acting as one of the gate-keepers, providing consultations to business units in terms of digital communications.
5. Keep close contact with global digital communications team to download digital assets, guidelines, technical solutions and knowledge.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Bachelor or Master degree(s) in communications or other related majors.
2. 4 - 8 years working experiences in marketing communications, digital communications or related functions. Digital agency experience is a plus.
3. Deep understanding on China digital/social media landscape, sensitive to new trends of digital communications and strong learning ability to capture new technologies or trends.
4. Solid skills of utilizing various digital/social tools into communications.
5. Excellent oral communication and writing skill in both Chinese and English.
6. Independent thinker and problem solver.
