Job Description: Clinical Application & Education Specialist

JOB TITLE DEPARTMENT / GBU LOCATION (COUNTRY) Clinical Application & Education Specialist Respiratory Monitoring & Solution Shanghai DIRECT REPORT (JOB TITLE) FUNCIONAL REPORT(JOB TITLE) APPROVAL DATE (DD/MM/AA) Clinical Application & Education Manager 1. Position Summary: What is the main purpose of this job? Why does it exist? (e.g., to create marketing strategies; to develop, support and grow Compliance awareness etc.) Please summarize in two to three sentences. ~ Develop programs of clinical application and simulation education in line with product marketing strategies ~ Develop clinical application tools like clinical evidence database, training PPT and training video ~ Support MIC programs that are organized by sales and marketing ~ Provider the clinical insight at the RMS product related clinical areas 2. Principal Accountabilities: What are the key responsibilities of this job? List the what, how and why of each responsibility and provide examples, as necessary. Use specific verbs of action, such as “manages”, “operates”, “analyzes”, “designs”, etc. Indicate three to five accountabilities in descending order of importance and approximate % of time spent on each. l Implement programs of clinical application and simulation education in line with marketing strategies (40%) n Develop clinical application courses to address “why to use MDT technology” n User training programs to serve RMS patient conditions including respiratory compromise, acute respiratory failure and healthcare acquired infections e.g. CA2T n Collaborative programs with 3rd academic association e.g. AHA, CSCCM, ICAA etc l Develop clinical application tools like clinical evidence database, training PPT and video(25%) l Support CCI programs that are organized by sales and marketing (20%) l Provide clinical insight at the PMR product related clinical areas(15%) 3. Experience: What unique knowledge are needed to successfully perform the job and what would you consider most skills are most desirable (e.g., sales experience, ability to operate within a marketplace that is complex, management skills etc), years of experience. ~ Graduation from medical school and at least 3 years ICU working experience. ~ Good at communicating skills and handling logistic of meeting arrangement. ~ Highly preferred experience in training especially simulation training ~ Highly preferred experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device businesses ~ Highly preferred public presentation skills and experience ~ Highly preferred in fluent English both written and verbal ~ Demonstrable problem-solving skills and behaviors ~ Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer) 4. Education (specific educational requirement or technical training, multi-language, Global, computer knowledge, etc) ~ Minimum Bachelor degree in medicine 5.
