Essential Responsibilities
* Lead Project technical execution, especially lead on blading design
- Turbine and blading design, the related calculation and technical problem resolving during project execution.
- Turbine layout drawings, interface drawings and relevant technical documents (incl. turbine casings, rotors, blades, valves, bearing pedestals), for input to arrangement planning, manufacturing and product documentation
- Assembly of the project specific product structure (Order PDM) within his own scope for input to manufacturing
- Other Internal & External documentation
- NCR Engineering dispositions
- Turbine erection manual prepare and O&M manual documentation support, for input to customer and site documentation
- Guide engineer and new comer during project execution
* Localization support (supplier qualification, material substitution, cost reduction)
- Technical support to SQP/PQP
- Support on MSR spec
- New product support
* Product support for purchasing/supplier, manufacturing, erection and commissioning
- Technical clarification
- Site issues (operation questions)
- R&D interface clarification
* Project Support for technical tendering
- Technical documents preparation, if needed
- Customer technical clarification support, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Mechanical/Thermal power Engineer with Bachelor degree
* 5 years’ minimum experience in steam turbine, especially in blading design
* Fluent in English both verbal and written
* Strong in problem solving
* Proactive behavior and can-do attitude
* Willing to take responsibility
* Inclusive and transparent communication style
* Ability to prioritize and focus on the key business priorities
* Ability to effectively work with cross functional team’s cooperation
Desired Characteristics
* Knowledge of Steam Turbine design principles and materials, including couplings, valves and insulation, etc.
* Knowledge of Thermodynamic design (steam path geometry), and blading design.
* Experience in turbine and blading manufacturing and assembly
* Experience with structured product documentation
* Experience in CAD tools (e.g. CatiaV5, AutoCAD)
