As a Sourcer - Talent COE, you will work in teams together with other motivated and experienced HR and business professionals. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse candidate segments and channels in the area of talent acquisition, employer branding and social media. There will be close contact with candidates, Talent Partners, HR Business Partners and external agencies.
The Human Resources function partners with the business to attract, develop, and retain the appropriate workforce to effectively implement business strategy. ABB is establishing a Regional HR Center of Expertise (CoE) within the area of Talent to deliver integrated talent services including employer branding and social media solutions for AMEA. The CoE will be co-located with the Global Business Services (GBS) in Bangalore.
We are seeking Sourcers with relevant experience and background for our regional CoE HR Talent team in Beijing, China.
Your Tasks as a Sourcer - Talent COE will include the following:
? Understand business situation, need and deliver role specific sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals in coordination with the Talent Partner.
? Research the talent market and generate new strategies to attract business critical passive candidates through referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns.
? Sourcing within internal Talent pool, Global Mobility pool and other Talent pools (eg. Alumni).
? Generate a solid pipeline of pre-qualified and engaged candidates.
? Track and report best sourcing passive and active candidate channels.
? Apply alternative approaches to source for specific vacancies leading to diverse pools/pipelines of high quality candidates.
? Develop pipelines for difficult-to-fill and business critical positions.
? Create and maintain lists of potential target companies based on a job family/industry and monitor their market activities.
? Build a robust network of both passive/active candidates throughout the talent sourcing process by means of continuous engagement in proactive dialogues.
? Identify and utilize appropriate ways of candidate cultivation including, but not limited to, social media channels (eg. Linkedin, Glassdoor, Xing, Weibo, etc.), basic data mining, job boards, grassroots efforts, community and university outreach, personal networking, internal referrals, target companies, and ABB internal database.
? Liaise with external head-hunting agencies for niche and selected positions based on the sourcing strategy.
? Conduct initial interviews with potential candidates.
? Stay abreast of market trends and track competitive practices.
? Bachelors or Master’s degree.
? Knowledge of business environment and structure and desire to keep up to date regarding business and industry trends and implications.
? 5+ years’ experience in advanced targeted sourcing.
? Executive headhunting, researcher experience is an advantage.
? Demonstrated success with various sourcing and recruiting strategies and techniques.
? Knowledge of CRM tool and experience leveraging the tool to source candidates as well as manage relationships.
? Experienced with LinkedIn Recruiter, preferably certified.
? Ability to talk about ABB and explain our business, company culture, values and EVP.
? Proven track record of successfully identifying candidates under tight deadlines and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.
? Experience with utilization of a variety of proven talent platforms and resources such as social media, major internet job boards, and industry-specific blogs/discussion boards, onsite/offsite social engagement events, partnering with trusted professional networks and establishing active presence with local colleges/universities.
? Ability to provide consultative recommendations to hiring managers and the management team.
? Excellent command of English.
