职位描述：
Test work
Perform routine assignments with guidance and direction from others. Write test reports.
1.Test preparation
2.Review job request, relevant safety data and fully understand requirements in accordance with laboratory SOPs
3.Determine availability of required equipment and materials – prepare or order required materials
4.Review timelines and discuss schedule conflicts or modifications with laboratory management (and project manager, where necessary)
5.Document preparation appropriately using datasheets or laboratory notebooks
Performing test
1.Assemble test apparatus
2.Correctly operate, understand and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing
3.Perform test work according to laboratory request requirements. Record raw data directly onto datasheets or into laboratory notebook. Immediately notify laboratory management of any test delays, problems or deviations
Test completion
1.Disassemble and clean test equipment and work area
2.Record any remaining test information
3.Create an accurate and timely laboratory report reflective of the laboratory request requirements. Report hours spent on project

Responsibilities specific to Microbial laboratory

Supporting activities
1.Understand how various laboratory systems (including purchasing, calibration, materials inventory) are maintained.

Responsibility for maintenance of such a system may be assigned
1.Assist with general laboratory housekeeping
2.Develop technical contribution
3.Attend training courses as required
4.Follow assigned work schedule and meet expected target dates
5.Attend customer audits as required

Minimum Qualifications:
1.Degree or equivalent in Bio Science/Engineering or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories and concepts.

Position Competencies:
1.Use existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyse information and standard practices to make judgements
2.Knowledge of fundamental laboratory techniques and measurement methods
3.Exchange straightforward information, ask questions and check for understanding
4.Practical ability to perform test work and execute work instructions
5.Good written and verbal communication
6.Conversant with PC based programmes

Other Requirements:
1.Work safely and comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
2.Adhere to general laboratory rules and maintain laboratory cleanliness
3.On occasion may need to start or finish work earlier or later depending on test requirements
4.Hold current passport as may need to travel to other Pall locations for training or assist with test work
5.Hold full driving licence (where applicable)
